approval process of adding places

recently i saw several posts regarding difficulties local guides facing when they are trying to add a new place to map. sometime those places are created and approved instantly. and some times it takes ages to approve. 

sometime after certain time period only we noticed that place is didn't approved or so.

is it possible to get a response saying "this is the reason why your newly created place didn't approved"? 

am sure anyone wanted to know why the place didn't get approved ( most probably lack of information provided or incorrect data )

i think giving an reason why the place creation didn't approve  is a must ! so at least next time they can correct their mistakes when creating a new place

Currently, we are not receiving any reasons why our suggested edits are not applied. It would be better if you can send a notification or email to us saying the reason why our edits are not applied. This will help us to identify the problem on our edits or if we need more help from the Googlers to report a listing as spam. I encountered some business listings that can't be edited because the system is automatically rejecting my edit request. A Googler helped me to check the business listing and found out that the business listing that I'm editing was claimed by other person. So basically, if only I'm aware from the first time that it was not applied, I can just easily report this as a spam and won't try on editing the listing many times. This will help us to save time on trying to edit a place and it will help Google to identify spam.

Please note that a similar idea has been already submitted in Create a notification that will give us reason why our edit was not applied. That is why I've merged yours post to it. 

Before posting, please first search the community for a similar idea, because it is possible that someone else has already submitted the same idea or asked the same question.

A inserção de novos lugares no Google Maps ainda é bastante burocrática. Já inseri alguns lugares, e mais recentemente inserindo até as fotos do local, e não foram aprovados. Acredito que deve-se pensar em mecanismos que otimizem essa inserção, sobretudo para Guias Locais com contribuições significativas na plataforma.

Sometimes it has happened i added one place and removed one place in my nearby area which were absolutely valid, still these changes not approved by Google team. I don't understand the reasons behind it.

My suggestions to the team of google map, please communicate reasons of 'not approved' edits to a local guide.
