Confused. Level 10 Melbourne Australia

Hey everyone, first time posting here. 

I'm a level 10 local guide. I love submitting photos and sharing reviews through Google Maps. 

Can anyone tell me though, should I have had some sort of perk by now?

Or do us Aussies get left behind.

@Gruffalo I don't remember seeing active perks at the moment. As you know already Local Guides is a voluntary program, perks may not be available some times. Sometimes perks could be announced in LG Connect, so stay active here. And sometimes announced through email.

To set email notification for perks, contributions, product updates etc, head to https://maps.google.com/localguides/home/settings

And you can have a look at this post also which many of the current/previous perks, you can check the details under each link and note the expiry/end date of each

And, there are always Local Guides achievement badges to be obtained and unlocked. Also, this should be better located in "How-to" board, rather than "Idea Exchange" which is more for enhancement and improvement ideas.

I'm in the UK, and talking to other UK local guides the only perk we recalled was an online newspaper discount. Having said that, getting to Connect Live was a big perk. Perks were certainly a talking point there both on the agenda and off it.

In short, you're not being left out more than other countries, so always stay tuned.

As explained by @deadmanjones and @StephenAbraham, perks is an issue for many. From what I understood from other Googlers who work on perks is that they try their best to send out perks to people from time to time, there isn't an exact formula that qualifies you to a perk or the magnitude of the perk. Sometimes logistical and geographical constraints cause some places not to get perks. I for one in Tanzania have not received any perk apart from the biggest perk of getting to be part of CL18. So it all comes down to being voluntarily adding contributions and hoping your efforts are seen.
