We are deep into technology now as we live our daily lives with our little devices being so close and so helpful all the time. It is really easy to not acknowledge services like local guides in the pace of things but in a country like India whose internet users are to reach 627 million in 2019, there is a huge scope of such services guiding local people. A task such as this which involves deep local knowledge as well as a nature of affection towards the local community can be done best by that particular community and not a big corporation as others have tried and failed but Google’s initiative of local guides helps people like me in knowing what to expect from places making my daily life just a little bit better.
