Who wants to work as a team?

We should start meeting up and planning more strategies to cover more ground and gather up more current data…I’m a level 10 looking to see who the other elite guides are in the area…I’m in the Pacific NW near Seattle…

Hi @Papi1971

Welcome to Connect.

What an interesting idea. Most dedicated LGs are working alone in my experience.

Maybe you could mention which geographical area you are in and would like to collaborate with fellow Local Guides in?

Maybe you need to narrow down and pick some priorities:

  • Type of contributions
  • Ways to collaborate
  • Time frame
  • Goals
  • Language

Maybe you could study how the TRAC team is working. Their focus is adding missing roads to Google Maps.

Find their index page here:

Best of luck with this project.

Hello @Papi1971 and Welcome to Local Guides Connect. Thank you for your first post and reaching out to meet other Local Guides in your area.
That’s really an awesome idea to connect with Local Guides of area
To find other local guides from your city, area or country, you can use search option of the connect, which you can see on the top of your screen on connect, just type your city, area or country, you will surely find some fantastic local guides there.

And as the other option, I will recommend you to creating a Meet-up
By this interested Local Guides can indicate their interest and participate.

Since you are new to the Community here are the steps of creating a meet-up:

  1. Create an event on the site of your choosing
  2. Visit the Meet-ups page on Connect And on this page you can also join any meet-up for gaining experience for your first meet-up.
  3. Click “Create” and then “New Meet-up” and enter all information (including your event link if it’s virtual)
  4. Find Suitable tag for your meet-up
  5. Submit time and date correctly
  6. Don’t forget to add a banner or photo
  7. Click submit

Once your submission is approved, it will be added to A Dedicated Section for UpComing Meet-ups where you can view and search activities.

I also wanted to recommend to you, check Read first! Connect community guidelines for more information on Connect redesign FAQ: Your questions answered!,
& You can also Visit Community guidelines page for in-depth resources on the Connect features.
and many more :slightly_smiling_face:
