I am trying to add missing places in different locations, but every time maps shows not accepted . What’s the problem? My location was turned on and I was physically there. But the location I am trying to add it shows not accepted instantly.
After you add an edit to Google Maps, it’s reviewed by either Local Guides, or an Automated System, or both to ensure the information is accurate. If your edit is Not Applied that means google unable to confidently verify the information you shared at this time. If your edit is Pending, that means Google still reviewing it and may need additional information to verify that your edit is accurate. It may take some time for Google to gather that information.
For details please visit the link Why is my edit status “Pending” or “Not Applied”?.
What @Kumaarsantosh said is correct. Also try to add a business to Maps at the exact spot of business itself ( means when you take photo of the business, add that to the map in that time ). Also schools may not be accepted. If photos are added, there’s chance of your edit being accepted!
Hi @ReazulIslamDolan
As of September 2024, Schools, Colleges, and Educational Institutes are in auto-denial mode, allowing only location changes without address updates and duplicates from other places. This is why you are encountering auto denial.
Some schools in my area became lyceums, and accordingly changed their names a little. But as I noticed, in my area (or even city) NOBODY deals with Google maps and in fact closed places can be shown as open for several months, until I personally started to deal with maps of my area XD
