What Local Guide mean to me? Beauties

I’m a man of few words, so don’t expect too much from this post.

Be warned.

First step

Let’s start from the beginning.
More or less there in 2016, I started to contribute with google maps, I didn’t know that this possibility existed, but I found it interesting and looked deeper.

I always liked photography, so I already knew a place where I could show what I do and still help people.

Look at this!

Second step

Panoramic photos are beautiful, you can capture different environments in one photo!
But then I discovered the photos in 360º, and I thought: why not help people to feel immersed in such a place?

Look at this sky!

Third step

So I thought about going further, not just photos, we need details of the place, the stores!
It was then that I started my journey, entering various places, meeting people, losing my shyness, asking what the environment was like where they worked.

Fourth step

I had walked so much, met so many people, taken so many pictures, it was then that in 2018 I saw something about Connect, but it was too late, I lost my registration time.
2019, it’s my time! I don’t think so, too busy with college…
2020! Here we are, in the last days, editing video, here we go.

Fifth step

But all this comes at a price, and it was great, because for me, the local guides is nothing more than meeting and helping people and enjoying landscapes!
It is a wonderful feeling and many memories are surely kept.
I end with this beautiful landscape with people I didn’t know yet.

See you guys, bye bye!

Hi @ThigSchuch , your post is amazing! However, as the Guideline of how to make a good application post, it should be under “Local Stories” topic, not Photography. Wish you luck!

Hi @ThigSchuch ,

It seems that you’ve shared a post for your Connect Live 2020 application. Keep in mind, one of the requirements is to share your post on Local Stories, so I’ve moved your post there, thanks.

Feel free to have a look at the application guidelines and find some handy tips for creating an application post.
