What is the traditional cloth of your country?

My previous post about Ukrainian traditional clothing gave me a inspiration and curiosity to ask about traditional clothing of your countries and cultures, dear Local Guides.

It would be marvelous to hear and to see wonderful traditional colors of your culture and your homeland.

With my veeery best regards,

Valentine

Dear @uavalentine ,

good theme and very difficult to answer. I would not put me to a dedicated culture, because in my country live historically hundred of cultures. The people in the North have totally different traditional clothes then in the south…

So, it can look like this, but hundred kilometers away different, but this is somehow as well my culture

@uavalentine , I am glad that you liked our clothing. India is a vast country with endless cultures & traditions. It is said that in India that no two adjacent homes can have same culture.

The attire shown in the image is fairly common all over the country. The fabric is mostly silk else it can be made from cotton & some other variants too.

The image is of my brother’s wedding & we are ready in our traditional way.

Would you like to have a wild guess who is the groom ?
