Trying spiciest jjampong in Korea (Singil-dong spicy jjampong)
Jjampong is spicy seafood noodle soup. Singil-dong spicy jjampong is the famous jjampong restaurant in Seoul and being the number one spiciest Jjampong overall in Seoul. There are many Korean tv show that already visited this place such as Running Man, Roommate, Infinity Challenge, so many korean celebrities already tried this spicy jjampong like Park Hyung Sik, Park Shin Hye, SNSD, Choi Tae Joon, and many more. You can choose the spicy level of jjampong here. It can be original, slightly spicy, and very spicy. But I just don’t get it why the original more expensive (double price) than spicy. Maybe from topping, in original there are more seafood and seafood type more diverse and classy.
The unique one, before we eat, we cook the egg first by ourself. I choose the original and my friend choose the slighty spicy. The slighty one is really crazy. I am glad that I didn’t order it. In the middle while we eat, the owner approached us with single paper cup filled with very spicy level broth and told us to try it. We tried it and crying in the deep of our heart :”)
Before we left the restaurant, the owner suggest to take a selfie with him and give us yakult. Kind and friendly at the same time. Dear owner thank you for the great service. Tip from my friend while eat this spicy jjampong: don’t drink any water until you finish the food.
