My name is Julien Muhirwa and i’d like to respond to your question “what you love sharing most on Google Maps and why” on my google local guide application.
3 years ago, I started posting pictures on google maps for fun and one day I got an email from google congratulating me that i’m helping my community by posting pictures, they shared with me the impact the pictures had on people and how it helped restaurants goers know more about the food and place they’re going to.
I Kept posting pictures on google and learned that you get points and that a certain number of points can get you in a local guide trip to san jose,california! that kept me going telling myself maybe one day, i will get chosen and get a chance to see that beautiful google location and get know more about how i can help my community.
In short, I love sharing food at different restaurants to help people get to know the place(s) and what kind of food they serve.
