As I wrote in my introduction: I like to be a valuable for community, and I like to share my experience with others. Most of all, I like to express myself with photos, and this is what I share most in Google Maps.
It means, that whenever I make a good photo, I’ll post it (some bad ones are happening too, but we are only humans ? ) It is difficult to chose if this view, that I see by my own eyes will be good also as a photo, which usually flattens the view. Sometimes a good practice is to make panoramas, so you can see on photo even more details than usual. Often you don’t have to do that by yourself - Google Photos has proper tools (most of times it even predict which photos it should merge to make one)
Why do I share photos? I like it - it is nice feeling, that you can show somebody places as you see it. Sometimes it affects if person chose this place to see, or not. I do that many times. That’s why I like to post a photos not always from super-touristic places. Sometimes I go to the and of the bus line in city I’m actually in, to see what is “on the other side”.
It is also nice to see your affect on community. How many people has seen your photo, or tags it as valuable. It is nice to know, that you showed somebody’s place where that person lives, which he or she could be proud of, but haven’t got possibility to show it to the world.
