I am a big traveler and often when I travel I spend time with the locals that always take me to the best places in their home towns. However, there are times that I travel to places where it is hard to meet locals. That is where Google Local Guides comes in. For me, Google Local Guides is an amazing community of locals giving advice to visitors in their hometowns. As a local, I have contributed to Local Guides by uploading my recommendations and reviews of places. As a traveler I have also reviewed places I have been to, but also got my questions answered about a new area that I wanted to explore and got advice on places to see.
Without Google Local Guides my traveling experiences would not have been as pleasant as they were and I hope that we continue building this amazing tie between the locals that know their towns inside out and the explorers who are thirsty for new experiences.
