Waves, Windmills, and Wildflowers - Devgad Windmill Garden

Hey everyone! :waving_hand:

I recently visited Devgad and had the joy of hosting my first virtual meet-up there! During the visit, I took virtual attendees to a garden which is perfect blend of sustainable energy and natural beauty : the Devgad Windmill Garden.

As the name suggests, the garden is surrounded by majestic windmills. It offers picture-perfect views where you can watch the waves crashing from top, click hundreds of photos, or simply sit back and enjoy the mesmerizing sunset and the stunning post-sunset sky.

The garden features a beautifully laid walking path, statues of fishermen and women, picture perfect spots and charming seating areas. The area is filled with a variety of flowering plants, whose colors breathe life into the entire space.

These plants do more than just beautify the space, they purify the air, support pollinators, and help prevent soil erosion. Their presence uplifts the environment and brings a deep sense of peace and vibrance. That reminded me of the #PlantAppreciationDay challenge by @TravellerG, a beautiful initiative to honor nature. (#2, #4)

Nearby, you’ll also find eateries and small adventure activities within walking distance. I’ll be writing about them soon :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: There’s even a smart Electronic Eco toilet (E-toilet) facility (insert a coin and use it), which I believe qualifies under the Earth Hour Challenge by @Rahul001  (#4)

As I strolled through the garden, I was truly captivated by the thoughtful design, vibrant flowers, the coastal breeze, mesmerizing sunset and towering windmills standing tall in harmony.

Must Visit Devgad Windmill Garden for a peaceful retreat that blends nature, sustainability, and scenic charm. Thanks to my brother @Rushi_Rustom for being the patient while I click lots of photos

Thanks Much @NandKK
Yes, the windmills were working. Operator usually stop the windmills only when it’s extremely windy or stormy weather
