As for your question about the temperature during the night, it depends on the season you want to visit. In November, it was around 10 °C.

Thank you @VasT for showing interest in my experience at Kalam.
Kalam is a valley in swat, Pakistan. It takes almost 5 hours to reach there from peshawar city.
We live in peshawar city that receives a high temperature during summer. Sometimes we book a house in kalam Valley in order to spend the summers there. Because Kalam remains cool even in summers, and during winters it recieves pretty much snowfall.
It also is a tourist attraction place, having a lot of hotels. Tourists come to Kalam Valley, book a hotel, and then move ahead towards Gabral Valley, Ushu Valley and Uthrorr. But these valleys don’t have a proper hotels facilities, that is why the tourist spend their day at these places and for the night they return back to Kalam.
I enjoyed reading your amazing post and loved the great photos ofThe Valley of the Moon @VasT . As you say, like Petra, it is a truly amazing place. The color, the geology, the heat just out of this world!!!
@VasT I totally agree that Wadi Rum is like another planet Unfortunately I couldn’t see it when I was in Jordan last year, we hadn’t enough time after seeing Petra. I hope to go there next time
Thank you for adding more details @ComradeShah . It’s delightful to have a place where you can spend the hot summer days. Which is the most coldest place in Pakistan?
I hope you get that change @JustynaMad , Wadi-Rum is a must-see. What did you like the most in Petra?
I would like to go back to Jordan as well. I wish I could spend more time in Amman. I saw very few things since we had limited time and kind stuck in the traffic jam for hours.
Pakistan has a wide range diversity in its Geography. It has been bestowed with fertile plains, sky-touching mountains, and hot deserts.
K2, Nanga Parbat, and Tirch Mir are some of the well-known peaks of Pakistan.
@VasT the most coldest cities of Pakistan are the northern areas known as Gilgit Baltistan, specially, Skardu city recorded the record low temperature of - 24 degrees Celsius in 2019. Quetta and kalat city, located in Balochistan province, are also the coldest, where the temperature remains in between - 10 to - 15 during winters.
