Last month during a business trip to Italy, I spent a pleasant evening in Venice.
We walked along the route from Santa Lucia Train Station via Rialto Bridge to St. Mark’s Square.
On the way back, we stopped for dinner at the restaurant Marco Polo, where we tasted local seafood specialties.
Since it was Wednesday, there were not many tourists and therefore we could enjoy the magical atmosphere of the streets, canals, bridges, churches and shops. Night Venice captivated us so much that we missed the planned train to Mestre, so we extended our stay by an hour.
All images were taken with the camera Fujifilm X100T.

Hi @KarolT ,
Thanks for sharing these lovely photos of Venice! I was there maybe 10 years ago and it still looks stunning! Can you tell us more about your experience there? Was it a day trip? What was your favorite thing about Venice? Was it your first time?

Hi @DanniS
Thank for comment.
This was just short visit during businestrip.
This was my 3-rd visit of Venice, but first at night.
At night there are not to match people and nice atmosphere.

Thank you @KarolT
it seems you had a pleasant evening on Venice. You are right, if you avoid the weekend Venezia is nice, not so crowded.
I love your photo on the restaurant, with other people taking photos of food.
If you have the opportunity to come again, and you have a day off, I suggest you to visit Palazzo Ducale: Traveling like a Local - Venezia - Palazzo Ducale .
During the weekend the place is really crowded, but on working days you can enjoy it on a very quiet atmosphere.
Please let me know if you come back on my area
