Discription:- When we lived in Trivandrum, my best vada shop was a small tea shop on the road side right on the main square in Karakattam, I used to have vada and tea/coffee there almost every morning. Now it is a favourite at our home here in the North. Dahi vada.

Thanks, @MathanVibranarayan, for supporting “Dil Se Local.” This a unique vendor stall located in a thick location and still selling their heart out for quality products; otherwise, you won’t call it famous and a gem itself.

We will visit this during your mega meet-up at Madurai (whenever you plan). :+1: :grinning:

Thanks for sharing with us.
Cheers!

I was not aware Medu means soft until now @MathanVibranarayan :+1:
We make this at home too - consume with Sambhar and Curd.
Also, while living in Bengaluru, I enjoyed Wada a lot - there they call it ‘Bonda’ I think.

If you have not tried so this, bowl full of sambar, vada dipped and drained in it for while, topped with coriander and served hot. Like dahi, this is sambar vada… must try one… :face_savoring_food:
