Photo 01: This was photographed yesterday morning at Khed-Shivapur while traveling to Miraj-Sangli, Maharashtra, via the Mumbai-Bengaluru highway NH-48.
I remember reading about an incident in which a scrap plane became stuck on a busy Mumbai road. That was a strange thing to imagine, but I saw with my own eyes an Air India Airbus 319 (I figured it out from its registration number VT-SCU visible on the plane) lying in a scrapyard on the side of the highway.
Nowadays, people repurpose such expensive scraps and redecorate them into restaurants, hoping for a similar kind of exclusive treatment with that plane.
Now here is the challenge:
Have you ever noticed anything unusual on the side of the road while traveling? It could be anything, from planes on the way to a tiger next to your car!
I would love to hear about it in the comments section below; along with a photograph, that would be ideal!!
No unfortunately I couldn’t, as we were on the main highway lane and as we were passing by and traffic got a bit slower and I suddenly noticed it, so there was no time for that, @Rohan10 .
@Raj_Tayade , It is true that it is better to use it than to throw it away; as @TusharSuradkar wants to emphasize that leaving anything behind would turn it into a dirt patch, therefore, it is best to dispose of it properly or re-use it intelligently.
At this point of time, I don’t remember any such shots in my collection - but, let me have a gland at my library.
Yes, dear @TusharSuradkar - it is sad that such items are left to fate which may be dangerous even to the environment! Appreciate your collage - interesting.
Very true, @TravellerG sir. It’s sad to see if anything valuable to our society or even an individual is lying unused like a dirty piece, and yes, it’s a big threat to the environment too.
Thank you for your input, and I am waiting for your photos.
