Universal Studios Florida - Storefront Photo Walk

The Universal Studios Florida located in sunny Orlando is a paradise for walkers like me besides for foodies, and photography enthusiasts.

There were plenty of shops of all size and shapes, so it was an ideal place for a storefront photo walk which I did in June 2023.

Most food joints and stores were richly decorated to attract customers of all ages.

Several places had both outdoor and indoor seatings like this Starbucks.

Some stores had a lavish landscaping by way of a waterbody, like this Hard Rock Cafe,

So, it was a unique experience for the customers to have food while enjoying the views of the tour boats sailing by…

Here’s the closeup view of the famous Hard Rock Cafe that has railings and also an accessible entrance.

Some storefronts like Grill Brew had huge LED displays that was a great eye candy to attract visitors.

Island Adeventure Trading Company had a nice medieval look with a clock tower as the storefront.

Voo Doo Donuts had attractive large sized donuts on the storefronts tempting customers into their shop.

Margarita Ville had a landscape and large multicolored parrot on the storefront.

Bigfire had both ramps and staircase with railings as its prominent accessibility features.

There were also some permanent food vans places nicely on platforms though they were still accessible due to its openness.

Another wide-open storefront was the Coca Cola stall with a look and its rich signature red-colored decoration.

Antojitos Mexican Food had an overdone storefront with a riot of colors blending into each other like a gradient.

Great Movie Escape had ceiling fans for the outdoors also to beat the heat of sunny Orlando.

The storefront of Dining Dancing Cocktails says it all :wine_glass: :beers: :shallow_pan_of_food: :dancer: :man_dancing:

The Fat Tuesday Storefront is a cool Flamingo on violet background, and I think they sold stuff for fat reduction.

I noted that almost all stores were accessible in one or the other way.

Though it was a very discouraging experience to visit the Universal Studios if you are a solo traveler on budget since reaching there is costly, and the tickets are exorbitant not counting the food joints and cafes that charge at a premium for most regular and basic items.

In spite of this the public or free area and the views of the landscapes within the Universal Studios in Orlando makes it an experience of a lifetime.

  2. You can bring your own food and drinks.
  3. Bring along plenty of water or energy drinks.
  4. Wear comfortable shoes to walk a lot.
  5. Do not visit here on a weekend since the queues could get very long.

Thank you @AjitThite for the appreciation and great observation about the clean shots - I took them when most people were inside enjoying the food and the shows that I could ill-afford

Thanks for sharing these photos, @TusharSuradkar .

Such interesting and spectacular storefronts calls loudly to be photographed for Google Maps.

Were you able to find each business on Google Maps or did you have to resort to upload some of them to the theme park?

Cheers

I am yet to upload them to Maps @MortenCopenhagen - though I did a quick check and most of the franchisees are found marked individually in Google Maps…

Since they are all commercial establishments and spaced apart, I am sure they are added separately on Maps.

Thank you @SilvyC

When I planned a visit here, I did a quick check on LG Connect and easily found you post.

I had a quick question to ask about how you planned you tour the Universal Studios - self or guided tour when advertisements started appearing all over my browser and I chose to take a tour for the Kennedy Space Center, and decided to take a taxi to the Universal Studios.
