, many of you will be travelling from outside of Kerala. To ensure every local guide enjoys their travel and destination trips in Kochi, we are picking up some all-time favourite spots you can visit in and around Kochi.
Kochi is a getaway city to Kerala and the city itself is mesmerizing to visit and spend a day or two. Kochi is the first Age Friendly City in India, which means the city welcomes you regardless of your age and gender. In every corner of the city, you can find accessibility features which is why the city was credited with Age Friendliness by WHO. Kochi provides sustainable 
options of public transport - from water metro 
to e-feeder bus 
transit connecting the airport to all metro stations.
As the city provides everything for a traveller, Kochi has exploring gems like sea side, backwaters, museums (a lot), food culture (Asian, European, American and notably Japanese), historic streets and my favourite - Art culture.

Getting to Kochi 
- By Air - Cochin International Airport (COK). It is located about 29 km from the venue. Prepaid & online taxi services are available. E-feeder bus transits from the airport are available to all metro stations. Do you know COK is the World’s First fully Solar Powered Airport ?
- By Train
- Ernakulam North (Town) & Ernakulam South (Junction) Railway Station.
- Ernakulam North (Town) Railway Station - Best Known for departure/arrival station from out of Kerala. It is situated 3.3 km from the venue of mega meetup.
- Ernakulam South (Junction) Railway Station - also have departure/arrival trains out of Kerala. It is situated in city centre and 3 km by vehicle and 1.2 km walkable distance to the venue.

- Fort Kochi & Mattancherry - Explore Historic Chinese Fishing Nets and vibrant streets of Jew Town.
- Marine Drive - Perfect for sunrise and sunset walks with the overlook of backwaters.
- Lulu Mall - One of India’s largest shopping destination, easily accessible via Metro.

- Athirappilly Waterfalls - also known as “Niagara of South India” with massive waterfalls and great place for photography enthusiasts, situated 69 km from the venue.
- Kumarakom Backwaters
- famous for bird watching and quoter alternative to Alleppey, situated 48 km from the venue. - Andhakaranazhi Beach
- a hidden gems where backwaters meet the Arabian sea, quieter than the city beach and situated 32 km from the venue. - Cherai Beach
