Taramati Baradari is a historical monument with a Persian touch built by Ibrahim Quli Qutub Shah, the fourth Sultan of Golconda.
It was constructed on the bank’s of musi river. Taramati used to sing to entertain travellers with her sweet voice and the King listen to it while sitting in Golconda which is situated two kilometers away through the help of cross winds.
Baradari has twelve doorways and constructed in such a way to allow cross ventilation with a special technique.
Taramati Baradari consists of an open air auditorium with a 500 seating capacity, two Banquet halls, one bar and Restaurant and a swimming pool.
It’s being maintained by Telangana Tourism Department and has a Guest house to stay for the Tourists and Marriages and other similar functions can be celebrated at this venue.
