Let’s take a little throwback moment!
I wanted to share some glimpses from the incredible Madurai Chitrai Festival, specifically focusing on the stunning different avatars of Goddess Meenakshi and God Sundareswaran.
While the festival spans 18 vibrant days, and I couldn’t physically make it for every single one (oh, how I wish!
), I was still blessed enough to capture moments featuring several of the beautiful forms the deities took during the processions. Each avatar tells a unique story and is adorned with such breathtaking detail!
Please take a moment to swipe through the pictures (once you upload them!) and read the captions – I’ve added a little note about each one to share more about that specific divine appearance.
I really hope that by sharing these frames, I’ve been able to give my amazing LG Family a little taste of the grandeur and spiritual beauty of the Madurai Chitrai Festival! It’s a truly special event.
