The ultimate joy of exploring your own neighbourhood over a period of 5 years!

When I moved to London back in late 2013 for work related reasons, I had never heard this place name - Royal Victoria Docks, which then became my “home” abroad for the last 5 years. After reading a bit about the local history I realised that this place is often underestimated and holds a remarkable role in Maritime trade back in early 19th century. I decided to document the neighbourhood for the period I live here and that long running project has entered its 5th year. Seasons, events, changing landscapes… what not!

I am adding some pictures of this peaceful, modern and well connected pocket in London. Do visit when you visit London
