The Typo That Drives Business Owner Crazy

Almost a year ago I have new dentist clinic open in my neighbourhood, so like any Local Guide I was so happy to be the first one to add it to the map, basically the address and a photo of place name that was outside. no review added or any other details.

couple of days later I receive an angry letter in my facebook messenger from the dentist and the owner of the place. apparently she has search in my name in facebook and match the photo.

anyway the letter was with upset accent, telling me how bad Local Guide I am ,and how I should be very careful to write names correctly “to enhance my carrier in this business”, all of that because of a typo in the clinic name, I have mistakenly added 2 letters by mistake to the name. of course she could have fix it her self on google map or just ask me nicely to do so.

The funny part was that her own angry message (see picture below written in Swedish) has 10 dictation / grammer mistakes :slightly_smiling_face:

so basically what I did is: correct her own massage and send it back to her :slightly_smiling_face:

  • pĂ„ vĂ„r inte fĂ„r vĂ„ras
  • stavade inte skrev
  • gĂ€rna inte görna
  • bokstaver inte bokstava
