Are you excited for ConnectLIVE 2026 
? You definitely should while waiting for the official invitations to be sent out.
It is never enough to show the soul of such event, yes because it is not just an event but a life experience. Just to increase even more your excitement I’m posting some very good memories of what has been ConnectLIVE 2025: NYC.
I never stop to mention us, Local Guides, as a worldwide family driven by a unique passion, to contribute, to help, to learn, to engage. And the unique possibility to engage with the Google team, their experts, and get valuable time.
What’s the core event is always a surprise every time, so I won’t mention much about it except that be ready 
, you most probably don’t have much time even to eat something 
because of tremendous amount of tasks and talks you are going to attend.
The soul is whatever is around, that feeling you have when you are in a place where you can meet some other Local Guides, like you, from all around the world. Meet for sure again friends which you don’t see since long, that’s quite common, but meet new friends for the first time, this is also quite common and that’s so special .. how cool is to hug for the first time someone who you know just by a photo or a name 
?
In every ConnectLIVE the community is the spotlight, when Local Guides are approaching the venue days before and they start meeting with each other. Starting planning pre-activities, fun and excitement is raising and you start becoming already friends.
In NYC I had 3 full days before the event where we didn’t know where to be and to go so many appointments raised up all around the city, be everywhere you can, those days are so long 
! Take a lot of photos, a lot .. and I feel confident to suggest this LoL: how fun is looking at the photos and see the group growing and growing every moment 
.
The experience goes on also after the event, many Local Guides are staying some days over and activities are going on continuously till when you will have to start your trip back and here you can stop and start thinking at what amazing memories you are bringing in your heart back with you, and these will stay for ever and ever
