Apart from having the courage to explore the world and the energy it provides, the most interesting thing for me as a Local Guide is to add a photo, although I find the addition of places very interesting, the addition of these photos was a great impact.
Orange Guinea’s head office: This photo I added to Google Maps had a big impact on Maps users. The photo in question has recorded more than 1188,000 views. On my way to work in Kaloum in the Guinean capital Conakry very early in the morning, I arrived at this seat that had not yet been opened and took advantage of the closure and the fact that there was no crowd on the site to take this photo that I immediately added. The photo was then placed on the front page, so it began to generate more and more views until it reached the current number of more than one million views.
The Central Bank of the Republic of Guinea: The photo of this place has had a significant impact, obsessed with adding places and photos on the map, I was stopped at the bus stop right in front of the bank waiting for a bus to return to the suburbs when I had the reflex to take this photo, it was in July 2019, the photo in question has recorded more than 80,000 views since.
Although having to my credit a hundred places added and approved and added more than 600 photos this photo was the most important to me because it was the most seen by the community.
Adding photos to places is a huge contribution to helping customers find places and get an idea of a favorite place, it also helps local businesses to develop an internet presence.
In my area, I am one of the most productive Local Guides with the greatest impact at the community level.
