Actually it a sikh religious place situated at Amritsar Punjab.It is known as Harmandir Sahib.It is plated with pure gold hence the name Golden Temple.It has four entrances .It is open for everyone irrespective of caste,creed,sex,religion.This sanctum is surrounded by the pool(sarovar).Construction was laid by the 4th Guru of Sikhs Guru Ramdas sahib Ji.24*7 langar(free community kitchen)is open for everyone.This place is surrounded by many more buildings nearby like the Akal Takht sahib.There is lot more about it i suggest you sir to kindly go through the google.
