I’ll share my little knowledge on Kerala sadhya so basically it will be served in different styles in different regions of Kerala ie, the way of serving style in Thiruvananthapuram is entirely different from that of Ernakulam.
It is said that if you liked the sadhya or if it is a good event like marriage, birthday, etc you should fold the banana leaf forward and if the sadhya is not good or if it is served on death anniversary or any other kind of ceremonies the banana leaf should be folded backward.

These thalis are looking so tempting I am hungry :face_savoring_food: :face_savoring_food: now @curatorofmemory why don’t you plan a lunch meet-up to explore authentic food from some of the oldest restaurant in Delhi. There are many places that are still carrying traditional thalis in Delhi.

Mouth watering…mouth watering…mouth watering…

What a justice you do with these photographs. Looks like these are served just before the readers of your post.

All of them are authentic and am sure taste must be uncomparable. So far, have not tasted any, the way these are presented but must admire through these photos.

Thank you for bringing this unique way to share Indian Thalis @curatorofmemory.

In fact when we were having Chatting over Chai, @TusharSuradkar did brought up this topic[1] for discussion with Dr. @K.K.Sharma and me.
