I met Dr. Sharma for the first time in person, and it was a delightful moment in my life as a local guide. I learnt about # sustainability and its details through his various posts.
I got insights from both Dr. Sharma and Santosh Kumar on this topic.
We also observed that the cups that served the tea were made of disposable or recyclable material. Small topics like these were not known to me before Dr. Sharma introduced them through his amazing series.
It was truly an honour to share that special Chai Pe Charcha moment with you and Santosh ji. Conversations like these — infused with purpose, passion, and piping hot tea — are what make our Local Guides journey so meaningful.
A small but important clarification: @kumaarsantosh was actually the first to speak about the idea of a sustainability tag on Connect, even before me. I’ve always looked at sustainability from the broader lens of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and I’m glad that today more and more Local Guides are connecting their contributions with purposeful impact.
Observing something as simple as recyclable tea cups during our conversation showed how everyday experiences can become powerful learning moments. Let’s keep brewing more such discussions where stories steep in sustainability and spark change!
@TusharSuradkar . These paper cups are not environment friendly. It is a false notion . Tgese cups have PE lining which is difficult to degrade. Also at high temp chemicals leech into liquid which is potentially harmful. There are several researches which substantiate this
Arrghh Chai Tea? I need 4 size bigger than the cup you have on your hand @TusharSuradkar. When I go to Indian restaurant my belly will be full with chai tea not the food that’s how much I like it
Lovely post @TusharSuradkar
I wish key Mai bhi sath hota to Kiya hee baat hoti
Great to see @K.K.Sharma Sahab, and Ghumakkad Gossips kerney waley Bhai @Kumaarsantosh
Aap ko is post ka naam rakhna tha “Chai per Gossips”
Haha
Zabardast combination @KashifMisidia Chai pe Gossips
I sincerely wish our prayers are answered and we join over tea and share many more amazing moments and meetings
This was really quick and impromptu. I MUST say that this is an art to turn possibility into an opportunity. And, who knows this better than @K.K.Sharma. Thank you for giving such an opportunity to me to have conversation with both of you.
While event (Meet-up) was yet to start he grabbed the opportunity to have Chai Pe Charcha with the ideator of this concept on Connect @TusharSuradkar himself.
We had a great chat over a cup of tea which we all will cherish. The ever smiling faces express the happiness quotient of the moment.
For us, it is not just Chai (Tea) but far more than that. This represents emotions, love, care, gossip, entertainment, engagement, brotherhood, relationship, respect, ideation, humanity, equality & inclusivity …and what not!
Beautifully put across @Kumaarsantosh
A gossip over tea is an overload of emotions, exchange of ideas, and so much more as you have listed. Looking forward to more such delightful moments.
Yes, $6 a bit on the higher side @Erna_LaBeau
With that amount, we can offer tea for an entire meetup group of 50 out here
The tea-cups you see in the photo were 10-15 cents each
