The blue sea of Salento Coast (Italy)

Salento is one of the most beautiful place to visit in southern Italy.

It’s unique for the blue sea, the delicious sea foods, the folk traditions and sincere hospitality of its inhabitants .

I am pleased to share with you the Google Maps link of these places:

The photos do not give the right justice to this beautiful place but I hope at least they can transmit its natural beauty

Amazing. @Giuseppe75 Thank you for sharing, it is very interesting for us who live in the mountains, very far from the ocean shore

Thanks @Giuseppe75 .Hopefully one day I will visit Italy. We have the island of Bali, but Lake Toba in North Sumatra can be my recommendation. This is only preliminary information.

Great post and a good discovery for me ;-). I have never bee to Salento Coast. The water is so beautiful.

I went to south Italy few years ago. I travelled from Sicilia to Naples by train. I did Palermo, Catane, Taromina, Messine, Reggio de Calabre and Naples. I really miss it

The north of Italy (the lacs), Florence, Roma are on my wishing listing…

Thank you for your kind appreciation @Julien44 .

I am so glad you liked the blue sea of Salento. I am lucky because my family is living not far from this beautiful place and love at least once in summer to swim in this magic sea. Salento is becoming more and more touristic but I have to say it still maintains a natural aspect, I mean you will not see many big hotels or big buildings. The coast has saved its original aspect. Lastly how not to mention the delicious foods of the Mediterranean cuisine.

Wow, you visited so many beautiful cities in Italy, that’s fantastic. I love so much Rome, Florence and Verona.:+1:
