Did you know you could find one right in the middle of the city?
Come with me to the Cleanest, Serene and the beauty of a beach called Silver Beach!
SILVER BEACH, is one of the cleanest beaches on the coastline of in the ‘never sleeping city of Mumbai’. Some people call it; a north extension of the Juhu beach, but IT’S TOTALLY different from the Juhu beach.
This beach is unique in its own way as it is in the main part of city from where you can go to a temple or for a movie in just 10 minutes.
There’s a small elevated park for kids which makes it more fun.
Being a Local guide, we tend to check all the attributes before visiting the place. Which answers most of our questions: How to visit ? When to visit the place? Is that accessible? Is it visible from the main road? And yes, so happy to say that this beach is accessible by all standards which makes it a happier place for everyone.
The ‘silvery sand’ and the endless beauty of the Arabian sea makes the sunrise and sunset more majestic and surreal.
ACTIVITIES TO ENJOY WHILE AT THE SILVER BEACH
- The must have here is the “Naariyal Paani” ie. The Coconut water along with side eating like Wada Paav, Pani Puri, Boiled / Smoked corn and various other options.
- Many residents come here daily to jog, exercise, Yoga and enjoy the calmness of the beach.
- We played like small kids and ran around the whole beach as if we were set loose from jail. From playing volley-ball on the beach till the sand castles competition. We even witnessed the sunset which i could never forget.

After reading so many posts about #monthlytopic I finally decided to participate this month to share about my favorite place to visit on a summer day. @HiroyukiTakisawa glad that i could share my experience with you all @FalguniP and @Ewaade_3A motivated me to write this post.
HOW I FOUND THIS PLACE
There is always this humid kind of weather in Mumbai which tempts you to go to the beaches.
So, I searched on Google maps for more outings nearby to plan a day trip with my family.
Then, I came across this majestic beauty called; “Silver beach”. I was completely taken aback and wondered; “how did I never know such a beautiful place existed and right in the city center?!”
Such getaways are major throwbacks in these quarantine days. I wish to visit this place soon !
