Stunning Street Photography with many diverse subjects in Little India Singapore

Within a radius of just 500m with the center as the Veeramma Kali Amman Temple in Serangoon Road you can get a rich and colourful view of little India and the markets and bazaars in the circle. The sheer range of subjects and ideas to shoot from is simply amazing. You can see many temples, mosques, gold shops, saree shops and outdoor eateries and even a very famous colorful shop house ( it used be a Candy Store owners place - Tan Teng Niah Villa) which is now an labour consultancy office, The Tekka Market on the other hand offers many different opportunities to shoot in a vegetable and meat market and also eat some freshly cooked biriyani and wash it down with a teh tarik. But the most amazing part of this district is the colourful wall murals and art on the walls of the old shop houses - really colourful and nostalgic. I dont think there is any other place in the whole of Singapore where you can experience and engage with such diverse and varied subjects. Even if you are not a photographer this place is such a visual treat and will embed some beautiful images in your minds eye.
