STREET ART IN AMMAN 📷

Peace Be Upon You

Hope you are all having a great time. ?
I would like this time to share with you a couple photos about an amazing Street Art in Al Hashmi Al Shamali Amman Jordan.

Accidentally, I saw in one of my FB friends story a wall paint photos that I got wondering where those are in my country !
As a matter of fact, I never seen those before !? Unless I saw his FB story he shared there.

I picked up my cellular made a phone call

( hi my friend ) me.
( Hi OSAMA_ ) he
( What an Amazing paints at the walls ) me.
( Oh yes, this is behind my house, a 3 years ago painted ) he.
( wow,. I’ve never seen them before ) me.
( Ok, you can come over and enjoy looking ) he.
( Ok, thanks, will call on tomorrow ) me.

I’ve hanged up my calling like I am shocked ! How I didn’t know about this Street Art in my country , a 3 years ago !!.
Well, next day in the afternoon I rushed there using my car ,and absolutely my Cameras ready to start my attacks ?.
Once I got there he led me to the housing area and I thought I am not in Jordan , haha ? when I saw the giant paints at the Walls. Wow, he explained to me that a group of paint artists took the permission from the municipality of the City to draw those to change the housing area look to satisfy people there. They volunteered for free.

Saludos fueguinos, Farid.

Hi @OSAMA_1

I can very well imagine how you must have felt when discovering that a hidden treasure of art is lying unnoticed by you and yet so close.

The experience of huge street art for the first time is beyond words. Thanks for sharing the lovely street murals from AMMAN.

A street mural is a form of art that invokes the kid inside who always dreamt of drawing and painting on a large canvas which are the walls of the living-room as a kid and obviously are not allowed by parents.

This happened to me when living in Delhi.

I come to know about the street art and rushed there immediately and spent an entire afternoon marveling at the huge murals all over the place.

Here’s my article about the same.

What an AMAZING street art, my friend @OSAMA_1

Thanks for sharing.

I wonder how long was it take for the artist to paint each building?

And one more thing. I really adore the blue sky with lots of clouds. Is the sky in Jordan always like that?
