Time flies! The Bangladesh Local Guides community has completed 12 wonderful years of its journey, filled with memories, friendships, experiences, and countless contributions.

Today, around 16 members of our Bangladesh Local Guides organizing team got together for a lovely gathering.

We spent some quality time chatting, sharing stories, enjoying delicious food, taking photos, and discussing some exciting plans. It was a wonderful time filled with laughter, friendship, and fresh ideas.

And guess what? Our 12-year journey might have something special waiting around the corner!

We don’t want to reveal too much just yet, but one thing is certain—something exciting is cooking behind the scenes!

Hopefully, we’ll have something special to share with our Local Guides family soon.

Firstly, a BIG congratulations to the Bangladesh Local Guides community on completing it’s 12 year journey; just amazing.

As you might already know, I’ve done a few Spotlight posts on individual Local Guides, for example this one on kumaarsantosh and, while the spotlight on individuals is currently in moving slowly, I’ve been thinking about doing something on a whole community.

From having met so many Bangladeshie Local Guides, both virtually and in the person, I know that the Bangladesh LG community is a very strong one and I thought maybe it would be a good place to start with this idea. As well as your post, I found this post by @MahabubMunna and his photo solidified my view:

My idea is quite simple - feature the community and it’s members in a special way.
