So I am launching this initiative from the bottom of my heart. As this is not just a challenge for me, but also it’s an emotion. As we are the creation of nature, you may call it the Almighty. Some other people are also there in this beautiful world, who are also the creation of nature.
They are the specially abled and mentally challenged people. So in this challenge, you have to perform the following tasks.
You have to find and post about any business that accepts specially abled or mentally challenged people as their staff members.
You have to find and post about businesses that are fully dedicated to employing specially abled or mentally challenged people. That means the entire staff is specially abled or mentally challenged.
You have to find and post about any public places, including parks, museums, and public gathering places that have any facilities, special provisions for the specially abled or mentally challenged people, including employing them there.
You can perform any one or multiple points mentioned above as per your wish. You can also host a meet-up under this initiative.
There is no deadline for this challenge; you can take your time. Any local guide from any part of the world can participate in this challenge.
Yet another engaging challenge which would also help spread awareness of specially abled people being employed by local businesses and the facilities available for them. Thanks for this amazing challenge @Shaunak

One was Echoes ..a cafe deploying serving staff with speech & hearing impairments
2nd was visually impaired as masseurs

Nd as I write am in this beautiful cafe that deploys partially or specially abled staff. It’s Mitti cafe inside the President’s Estate. Vibrant cafe, smiling staff ..just beautiful

Beautiful cafe, beautiful people. Differently and specially abled staff with speech & hearing impairments.
The one I visited is in Dwarka, Sec 17. Nicely done in pastels. It’s a multicuisine cafe. They have a process to order food. Every menu item is coded and you are given a notepad and a pen to write down your order. You have to enter the item code, description, quantity & customisation if any. Every table has an overhead call button. Once you finalise the order, press the call button. This call button is linked to a light bulb of a specific table behind the counter. The bulb lights up & The staff will come & take your order.
I have always had a wonderful experience with food & service both. Smiling staff. They have multiple outlets in Delhi.
@Shaunak this is my 2nd contribution to Sitara Challenge. Staff & people from the Blind Relief Organization are working or deployed as Masseuses at Visa Foreign Servces centre, Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Connaught Place, Delhi. They are also deployed at airports. A very nice initiative wherein you can get a foot massage for a nominal charge of Rs 250 to Rs 300. A good cause indeed.
