You are right. Three formats of Cricket are available.

• Test Match (Five Days)
• One day Match (10 to 11 Hours) and
• T20 Match (5 to 6 Hours)

You may be happy to know that Bangladesh is now playing World Cup 2019 in England. Bangladeshi people are crazy about this game.

How does it work when matches are played over 5 days? Do the players and the spectators go home and can back in the morning or do they just sleep at the stadium?

Spectators go home and come back in the morning and Player go to the hotel and come back to the Stadium in the morning.

You may be surprised to know that, spectators really love this game a lot and sometimes full stadium is full of the spectators.

Cricket have different format, One day match, Test Match for couple of days and T20.

@MortenSI bro for more info the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup is the 12th edition of the Cricket World Cup, being hosted by England and Wales from 30 May to 14 July 2019. Ten team qualified for this year. Yes, you are right. Bangladesh, UK, India, Pakistan, Sri lanka most favorite and Australia, West Indies, Afghanistan, South Africa and New Zealand.
