It’s world environmental day today and what better way to celebrate it than with fruits !!! Very natural delicious fruits.
I believe there are lots of fruits lovers among local guides here on connect. I have also seen some very lovely fruit posts here on connect. More so I have attended meet-ups on fruits since I joined the local guides program. I remember taking part on a monthly topic **monthlytopic-of-Dec-2020-fruit-power-street-fruit-vendor. **It was inspired by @HiroyukiTakisawa that was when connect was still vibrant and connecting. @TonyAlexander also wrote a post on monthlytopic-of-December-2020-Fruit-power-Watermelon.
As regards meet-up on fruits I attended a meet-up tatse of summer fruits by @MukulR a very vibrant local guide and one time guiding star. I remember organising a meet-up on **Virtual-tour-of-Bangladesh-BLGC-IV. **While Mukul was presenting his slides on Bangladesh, there was a saint Martin Island where there was a large collection of guava as fruit. It was so nice.
Therefore I am inviting us to kindly share fruits on this world environmental day. Fruits we;
- Love most
- Eat often
- Most healthy
- Just fruits…
In Africa we have a very large variety of fruits I know. Perhaps in India as well maybe all over the world. I’ll love to see as many fruits as possible in the comment box below. Please kindly share if you like.
- Fruits are healthy
- Fruits are nutritional
- Fruits are medicinal
- Fruits are natural
- Fruits trees are very environmental friendly
- Fruit trees help the climate
- They are a source and form of shield from heat in tropical areas
- Fruit trees are beautiful and pleasant. Etc…
I must say I love bananas really. They are my best fruits. Nevertheless you can’t beat the yummy taste of a very juicy mango. That’s said if you get a very sugar sweet pineapple. It is so yummy so perhaps its quite hard to say I love this more than that when it comes to fruits. It will be interesting to hear what other local guides have to say on this issue of best fruits. There is one thing I might also like to hear from local guides. It’s a question,os tomatoe a fruit ??? Please feel free to share your opinions in that. I have it in my photo anyways
Please kindly note that the last photo isn’t a fruit it’s a fruit cake which I made during the lovkdown days. I love fruits so much that I made a cake of fruits. These slices of pineapples in the photo were used to make the cake. It was a very tasty and yummy cake. To find the post recipe etc kindly look up Pineapple head down cake post and recipe.
Now it’s your turn, please share photos of fruits with us. Any fruit every fruit and thank you.
Happy world environmental day.
Happy guiding
Cheers

Hi, @SholaIB !
That’s a nostalgic topic
Of course, I still love fruits and eat them almost every day.
Since last year, I’ve also been into making my own smoothies! My current favorite one is made with apples, bananas, pineapples, komatsuna, and celery.
It’s really hard to choose the best fruit, but I would pick apples. These apples are bought directly from an apple farmer, and they are incredibly delicious!

Hi @SholaIB !
I’m in!
This is a spontaneous fruit that I find here in Italy for one or two months a year, at the end of summer: jujubes!
I really like it and when I get the chance I gorge on it!
Bye and have a great day,
David

Hello!
Thanks for the fruit challenge
I also love fruits
, but most of all apples
, and @Annaelisa this is really a true saying about apples every day, thanks for remind this
A few days ago, my favorite apples turned into a handmade pie with apples and cinnamon
This is one of my favorite desserts. A pie with pears or bananas isn’t so tasty for me, as pie with apples. But this is just my choice.
As many people, as many tastes, and that’s cool
P.S.: @SholaIB
Your homemade Pineapple cake looks delicious and fun

Hello @HiroyukiTakisawa
Thank you kindly for responding to my post. Indeed it’s very true. It could be hard to say one fruit is preferred or the best over another one. I like that idea of making your own smoothy if you have time on your hands.
Your photos are lovely. Thank you for sharing them with us
