We had the first edition of our Voice of the Map meetup series on Saturday, and I am pleased with how things went!
The purpose of this meetup series is to promote active participation on Google Maps while bringing local guides together to connect on their various experiences.
This month’s meetup was filled with stories from @Aslam_hossain, @SholaIB, @MrFreez, @Laurent, and myself. From hearing about the transitions at Kotoka International Airport in Accra, Ghana to learning about Blue Apple Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria to a memorable space called Le Patio that welcomed all works of individuals — we connected on spaces that mattered to us.
We had a chance to ask questions as well as catch up on where we are. During the meetup, we agreed that this would be a monthly occasion, and I was pleased with the feedback received to continue this series!

Sorry for being a little bit late ( that made me miss the storytellings from owner @ChinonsoOnukwugha …)
That said I think have enjoyed the rest..
and I think due my network instability and the fact I’m literally at the beginning of my speaking the attendees didn’t get me fully…( Sorry for that too! )
I hope could do more better at the next one ( I’ll try my best for it )
Actually I was sharing two local business.." Waw foods!" And " Le PATIO"..and thanks for everyone 's kindness and sharing that made the Meetup exceptional ( for my part my first meet up! )
