RECAP - Ramen Day Meetup 2024 India Local Guides

On August 25, 2024, local guides in India gathered for the International Ramen Day Celebration Meetup in Pune.

The meetup was hosted by amazing local guide @NERKARAMIT

The Ramen Day logo in the banner below was designed by Ajit or Amit, I don’t remember.

The India Local Guide logo in the banner was designed by the prodigious local guide @Praniketmore

We started the day at the RK Laxman Museum in the Baner area of Pune.

The tour guide greeted us and took us around the museum.

Local guides enjoyed the various galleries thoroughly.

Local guides, true to their spirit, took plenty of photos at the museum.

Amit Nerkar put the famous Accessibility Sticker at the museum’s entrance.

Some local guides indulged in excessive selfies, so we will probably not see them at the next meetup.

Then we moved to the Noodles+ Restaurant in Aundh Area of Pune.

We had tea here and ordered veg and non-veg Ramen.

Amit Nerkar distributed instant Ramen packets to everyone to take home.

While the Ramen was prepared, Merlin and Tushar hosted a Google Maps trivia.

Shubham Waman emerged winner with a score of 14/16

He will get a special gift and certificate at the next meetup.

Also, as a winner, he will host the quiz at the next meetup.

After this Amit Nerkar, Ajit Thite, Abhishek Patki, and Tushar Suradkar shared the newly designed stickers and badges to evervyone.

There were also instant Ramen preparation and vending machines.

We tried these as well.

We enjoyed the Ramen and also had a final round of Tea and Coffee

We parted ways with a stomach full of Ramen and other stuff and a heart filled with content and joy.

1. Explore Pune and Food Crawl Meetup, on 22 September, hosted by Merlin Thomas.

2. Support Small Business Meetup, on 13 October, hosted by Tushar Suradkar.

Excellent, I was waiting for this for a long time, @TusharSuradkar , finally you kicked it off now.

The photo style is amazing, pretty much matching with comic book cartoons style! I liked it, this style might go trending as well.

It was a grand meet-up, I loved it.

The best part was you could make it to the meetup after some gap

I tried the comic-comments style for the Birla Ganesh Temple Recap and the inspiration was the fountain of jokes and funny comments made in that meetup.

I thought of documenting those in some way in the recap.
