Here is the Recap of the meetup:
Last Sunday, 12th April, we had a wonderful Local Guides meetup at the vibrant lanes of Koregaon Park Pune. The purpose was to explore the area and support small local businesses, especially tea stalls and quick bite spots.
Firstly, We gathered at Naturals Ice Cream around 4 PM, where I and @dpalash2205 were joined by @TusharSuradkar and his family. From there, we began our walk towards the lively KP streets.
Our first stop was a peaceful garden in Koregaon Park- Damodar wagaskar Garden, where we waited for other attendees- @AjitThite Dada, Amit, @Rushikesh_joshi and @Kuldip_Patil Once everyone joined, we started with some group photos featuring our local guide meetup banner and stickers.
We also took a moment to observe and discuss sustainability practices in the garden like proper waste management systems and segregated dustbins and even an e-waste collection box. It was great to see such initiatives in place, and we also did our bit by carrying our own water bottles.
To add a fun twist, we played a quick game — “Guess the Location” where I shared 10 place photos and everyone had to identify them. It was exciting to see the enthusiasm and knowledge of fellow Local Guides!
We also had a special moment with a virtual call where I gave a small tour of the garden. Thank you for joining the virtual meetup @SarathUpendran @TravellerG sir, @Kumaarsantosh @Erna_LaBeau @ShubhamWaman
Tushar Sir distributed beautifully printed stickers to everyone. He also gave me the certificate for hosting the “Map Master” meetup, along with a sustainability sticker and a water bottle for hosting the “Chai Pe Charcha” meetup which truly is motivating.
We then moved towards the food lane to try something unique — Kunda Chaha 
(a delicious blend where kunda, a sweet made from milk, is served with tea). Everyone absolutely loved this local specialty!
I added the location on google maps and wrote a review - Sarkar Kunda Chaha
later we visited Sandwich Express to enjoy more snacks and continue our conversations. The evening was filled with laughter, great food and wonderful company.
It was amazing to connect with fellow Local Guides, support local businesses, and create beautiful memories together.
