Puri Trip with Family (Travel_with_vivek)

Travelling with family instead of going on trip with others(Group/Solo) is very different and interesting as well. That is the actual time when you get to know more about others mainly while helping each other’s.

Now since I am sharing my experience so first of all let me introduce my family, as I am married and I have a one year old son. And along with us my wife’s elder sister with her two little daughters and her hubby.

Basically we very rarely find time during our regular schedule. So this time when I was on a trip I had enough time to learn and help my wife While she was feeding or doing everything for a one year old child.

What are some interesting places in Puri to visit along with family?

Is that the Chilka lake boating in your photo?

I remember traveling extensively when my child was about 2 years old and we could not feed any outside food.

So we mostly confined ourselves to 1-day trips and carried home food for the young one.

Jagannath Temple Photo

Well as we all know about a well known famous temple in Puri Shree Jai Jagannath temple which is kind of do visit tourist place.This puri temple is also famous for its annual festival Ratha Yatra, or Chariot festival. It is one of the Char Dham a very common word followed by Hindus.

Konark Temple Photo (Konark Surya Mandir)

This is one of the best architecture built during ancient time and is dedicated to the Hindu Sun God Surya. Best part is if you are there you don’t even have to Wear a Watch because this temple is build in such a way that it indicates whatever the time is by the help of Sun Rise or Sun Set. And most importantly very famous Ashok Chakra is also know as tyre of temple during that time.

Now if you are on a Beach Sand is the most common word that you go through, it is one of tourist point where children below ten years are free and tickets for others will only cost thirty rupees per person. When you go there you will find Statues made from sand.

Hotel Baisnabi (Odia Lunch Special)

Well this is not that popular tourist destination because you find typical Odia Food, like Rice,Sambar Dal, Seasonal Vegetable, Salad, Pappad and Chatney, etc. Now the most important reason for mentioning this place is because firstly their food quality is quite healthy and hygienic. Secondly, its quite pocket friendly. #RECOMMENDED_LUNCH_PLACE_FOR_VEGETARIANS.

Golden or Blue Flag Beach

Since you are near sea beach this is also one of tourist destinations where you will find a very clean and safe environment to be with family as its on the shore of the Bay of Bengal. Good Sun Set view, and also if you love Morning Walk its again a recommended place and the price for the beach entry is just 20 Rupees and children below 10 years are free.

Shree Gundicha Temple Puri

This temple is also very important if you visit puri because this the place from where a very famous Rath Yatra Festival starts every year.

And except these places their are other tourist attraction as well but since it was only two day trip and also as i mentioned earlier i had a one year old child with me to take care off, so these were the only places which we managed to travel. Yes Mr @TusharSuradkar that’s Chilika Lake in the picture because we also had one day to spend in Swosti Chilika Resort.
