Picturesque houses on stilts on the island.
Early morning serenity on the island.
Colourful setting of the houses on stilts. Walkways and fishing boats are the main connection for the residents on the island.

Hi @Tengyim,
Thank you for sharing! This looks amazing. Can you give me more details about this place? What would you recommend for Local Guides to do if they visit?

@Saksham_Tambe. Thank you for your kind words.
Pulau Ketam (Crab Island) is an island off the coast of Port Klang in Selangor state, Malaysia. You can take a 40 minutes ferry boat from Port Klang to reach the island. It’s a popular weekend break from the busy city life to enjoy the slow paced fishing village vibes. The village is on stilts and you can easily explore the small village on foot or rent a electric bike. There are a few fresh seafood restaurants. For the more energetic visitors, take a boat trip to visit the fish farm and along the way watch the eagles feeding from the boat. I stayed overnight at a small hotel there and had a great seafood dinner while watching the beautiful sunset.
