I work as a GIS Analyst in a local government office. I regularly submit new private roads through the “Send Feedback” link on Google Maps. However, they are rarely added, despite my providing a link to a map snippet image depicting the road and associated addresses and parcels. I can see on the Google Maps imagery that the road and a new home can be easily located.

I actually looked into the GeoData Upload program, and inquired of a state listserv on other users’ experiences with it. All replies indicated that the response to have new roads incorporated into Google was the same as simply submitting them anonymously through the “Send Feedback” link. As you can imagine, I was disappointed.
