Sorry, I can’t find anywhere how I get rewards, when, what are they? I can see my points. Does google just notify me? Speaking of reviews, this answer should have been easier to find, but I’m a cranky old geezer.

All you can do is to make sure your email settings are checked for rewards on this page: https://www.google.com/localguides/settings
The handing out of rewards have pretty much been phased out in my opinion. So waiting and hoping for at reward will most llikely lead to dissapointments.
I find it very rewarding to know I help a lot of people with my edits and photos. I love following how my contribution stats grow over time. You can also view this community as a nice perk where you can get to know fellow LG from around the world.
