I have been having problems with photos not uploading on Google maps for the past few days. Also no updates are coming through for veiws counts but the seems to be no problems with reviews as these are updating instantly. Anyone facing this challenge or it’s only me.

Hi,
For some time now when I post pictures on maps only 1 or 2 out of many get uploaded. The others don’t. I have waited for a day or 2 just in case it is taking time, gone and checked the contributions page after some time but all my pictures just don’t upload. Anyone facing this problem as well and any solutions.

I also faced the same problem here and there but after some they will then upload at times I had not seen that it’s not uploaded then I reload so these new photos load instantly but after a day the originals also load resulting in double photos. Lucky I am very active and I check my contributions very often and realise there are double photos and quickly delete them. Now I am wiser it’s due to speed but the photos would have gone.
Hope you will not make my mistake. @salonisethia

I have the same problem. I also wait for another day and checked it. The pictures won’t come up. Sometime after my review there are no any picture at the bottom of the review at all. I don’t know why. Looking for the answer as well.

Thanks a lot Chinmaya. I have been checking. Sometimes after a day pictures get uploaded but right now I am checking after a day and after 2 days and still nothing. Some pictures I am uploading multiple times and no success whereas some after trying over the course of a week it is successful. However it is very annoying and lot of time gets wasted

Hi @chinyama - I had an issue with updates only twice, but it happened when I wrote very long reviews and had to stop in the middle and then came back to it several hours later to finish. Otherwise no other issues.

Hey bro, even I am facing thisissue for few days. My overall view count is stuck while individual count is still growing.

@Bea-K Thank you for taking the time to help out. I also do write long reviews but I do it when I am ready to finish so that I do not stop in between and my reviews are loading instantly but photos are not loading on maps neither is the total view counts for photos only

Thank you @AnshukMitra for responding I wanted to know if the issue was peculiar to me if so learn where I am doing it wrong. Also are all your photos adding and loading up on maps.

Hola. Me ha sucedido a mi hace dos meses atrás, incluso aparecían y desaperían durante 48 horas. Actualmente me demoro en subir una foto.Solo hay que esperar y recuerda, no las subas por segunda vez. Luego te pueden aparecer duplicados y estarías en spam.
Recuerda que puedes no ver tus fotos en la página donde la subiste a maps, pero sí puedes verlas en tus contribuciones de fotos de Google.
Mi consejo es esperar y no subirlas dos veces. Pueden estar pasando por el proceso de verificación de los filtros, no lo sabemos. Se resolverá, sólo espera.

Thank you @LuaPL for the advice surely I tried uploading one of the photos and it uploaded instantly then I thought they have not uploaded and uploaded all of then. As you say just after uploading all the original ones also came up. Right now I am having a torrid time trying to delete them.

@LuaPL maybe the reason they did take some days to upload might be because most of these photos were taken using my smartphone in extreme power saving mode as I was trying to save battery. And normally this also turns off location.

Me alegra que se haya solucionado. Un consejo que me dieron y yo lo experimente, trata de no subir más de cuatro o cinco fotos a la misma vez de un solo lugar, pueden demorar en aceptarte todas las fotos. Cuando elimino mis propias fotos también puede demorar en ser eliminadas. Dales tiempo, en mi caso me demoraron casi 24 horas y también envié comentarios informando el problema y que no es mi intención el spam.

Thanks again @LuaPL very useful indeed the issue of uploads has been resolved . Now left with that of view counts not updating but also hope this will self correct with time.

Si tu puedes ver tus fotos en contribuciones de tu cuenta de fotos de maps ya no hay problema.Ellas están en la pagina de Maps donde tu las enviaste. Solo espera y verás las visitas que tu recibes en esas fotos.Algunas veces nosotros no podemos ver nuestras propias fotos, frecuentemente sucede en los POI. Chequea en tu computadora y en el celular, pueden haber variaciones. Espera y se solucionara.

Hi @chinyama !! Yep!! I’ve had the same problem. The reviews are published inmediatly but the pictures take up to 48hs to be visible.

Yes that had been my problem @CaroGuiniazu with some photos not all especially those that are taken when location is off. Surely if I reload they appear in duplicate and another problem starts of trying to delete them. Now I have learned from @LuaPL explanation that the photos will have uploaded but you can not see them. It’s rather annoying however not knowing which photos have uploaded to avoid duplicates.

Tried it. Sometimes a few pictures but others in the same batch dont. Also some pictures dont show in the maps page of the location but show up in contributions.
