Mucha suerte.
@LuaPL thank you so much for such valuable tips. They are very useful as trying to guard against duplicate photos is very difficult. As you said we always try our best to look out for them and your experience is first hand information which is tried and tested which means if it worked for you it will work for me. I have already tried a number of your suggestions and they really worked. Thank you once again for taking the time to help out. Highly appreciated.
@salonisethia tThank once again for bringing the topic subject up. I also raised a similar problem though different in another post and there were some great and useful answers from fellow community members. If you can check out that post answers very useful as someone mentioned something I did not know that sometimes we can not see all of our photos but they would have uploaded and if you you reload them like what I did latter you will see them being duplicates. Which again becomes another problem as you hope you will see them first so as to delete them. So advisable not to reload those pictures if you are so sure you uploaded them.
Was this issue ever solved? My uploaded photos do not appear even though I see the confirmation messages. I’ve tried on both mobile and two different web browsers on desktop and tested on several different locations. Still nothing. Is this something unique to my profile or a global issue? Appreciate the help.
Please note that sometimes it may take some time your photos to be visible on Google Maps. Further more, since you have allowed in Connect settings your profile to be viewed, I noticed that there are recent photos uploaded.
Could you please confirm whether these are the photos you mentioned in your post?
Since your post was not relevant to the thread you posted it in, I merged it to a relevant one where you may benefit from the discussion on this topic.
“Need Help with Photo Upload Error on Google Maps”
Hey Local Guides community,
I’ve been encountering a frustrating issue with uploading photos on Google Maps, and I’m hoping someone here might have some insight or solutions. Every time I try to upload a photo, I keep getting an error message that’s preventing me from sharing images of my favorite spots with the community.
The error message typically says something like “Photo upload failed. Or Looking Like In screenshot or many other like Please try again later.” I’ve tried multiple times, on internet connections, but the problem persists. It’s really disappointing because I love contributing to Google Maps and helping others discover great places, but this issue is holding me back.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, were you able to find a solution? Any advice or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated. Let’s work together to solve this issue and continue making Google Maps a valuable resource for everyone.
