No worries @Velvel – Yes, my mom received her second shot last month. She is completely Covid-19 vaccinated. In her first shot, she felt more of the side effects; a sore arm as soon as she received the shot that lasted for 24 hrs and a headache in the middle of the 1st night. Her second shot; no side effects
For me, I felt more side effects; sore arm for two days, fatigue about 3 hrs afterward which became an afternoon nap, and a sinus migraine that lasted for 24 hours. Second shot: arm a little sore and a headache 24 hours later.
What the CDC Health officials are stating on the news is that you want to feel side effects because that means the vaccine is working.
For both of us, we suffer more effects from the first vaccine dosage, not the second, which I have heard friends of friends suffer more the second shot than the first. Neither of us has suffered chill, fever, or nausea.
Good news for us here in the US; 18 and above will be able to start getting vaccinated on April 15. I read now 20% of the US population is completely vaccinated.
Yes, my mom is now able to be a part of my kiddos’ life physically now. It’s been a long year!
Crossing my fingers for you and your family to get vaccinated. It will make a difference in your lives.
Estamos Juntos e seremos sempre fortes!
We know it’s exciting to receive your COVID-19 vaccination, however, in an effort to keep Connect organized as well as keep potentially sensitive (to some) images in a single place, we are merging all Connect posts about COVID-19 vaccinations into a single thread.
You’re right that Local Guides actively updated relevant information on Google Maps in 2020 and continue to do so in 2021! Did you have the chance to share your experience at the vaccination center in a review on Maps?
@DeniGu I’m so happy receiving your answer. I already updated this picture and information about the place and procedures to receive vaccines in my town. Here in Brazil we exchange pictures to incentive friends to do the same. We waited for one year inside home.
This is great, @CSouza ! And you have an interesting way to encourage fellow Brazilians to get the vaccine. Fortunately, more and more people are getting vaccinated in my country, Bulgaria, too. Take care of yourself and others!
What a difference between the period of Covid vaccination dose.
On 13.03.2021 I have taken Ist dose of Covishield vaccine.Rajiv Gandhi Superspecialty Hospital, Delhi welcome all the beneficiaries with open arms. They welcome on Red Carpet. No any crowd no any queue no any waiting in the entire Hospital complex. All the doctors, nurses, staff are in a very fresh mood. They manage 10 -10 beneficiary in a row after properly briefed. First of all, they provide chairs covered with neat and clean covers, in the middle and at last, neat and clean sofas are available in the covid vaccination centre. Civil Defence personnel are also very alert with well manner. But, today on 16.04.2021 for getting 2nd dose of vaccination, when I visited there, I found that everything is changed. No any queue, no one available for guiding, no any help desk. No one reply properly. There is queue of Ambulance waiting for dead bodies sorrounded with a crowd. They are denied for taking shots. No one care of any other. All are trying to come first for vaccination and leave the hospital as early as possible. Last time, I told my experience proudly but now I think what I say when someone enquired. Patients and beneficiaries are running pillars to post. More than 20,000 positive cases comes daily in Delhi. Controlling authority has not paid proper attention towards the situation, remain busy in Election for State Assembly, Bye elections, elections for Panchyat, Zila Parishad etc., organising Kumbh festival. As a result, there are vast medium for community spreads. Strict action is required to control or break the chain. 24 hours curfew in a weak without giving any relaxation, even of essentials commodities, should be imposed after proper public communication, so that everyone well prepared in advance. God save the city. Wear mask properly, remain in home safely. Now new instructions have also issued to wear mask in home also. Pray for my country pray for the world…

I recently received the first dose of the Cavid 19 vaccine. I would like to share my vaccination experience with everyone. The role of the Malaysian government in controlling the corona virus is much appreciated. I first apply for vaccination through the MySejahtera app. Last 2nd May JKJAV ( Special Committee on ensuring access to covid-19 vaccine supply) open bookings for Astrazeneca Vaccine shots through www.vaksincovid.gov.my and reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. I have completed my booking successfully and taken booking in 19 May at 12.30PM.
I arrive at the vaccination center on time. Their management was very admirable. I go to the vaccination booth after each step and get vaccinated. Everyone had to consult a doctor before being vaccinated. After the vaccination, we were kept in the observation room. Finally I have received the vaccine card after completing all the steps. The 2nd dose information will be informed by JKJAV through MySejahtera app.
Thank you #Malaysia, Being an Expats I am very thankful to Malaysian government. Are you already vaccinated? You can share your experience with us in the comments.
