One Day in Ancient Village Lakshmipur

Hi Local Guides,

In 13th February 2020 on my birthday, I visited one of the ancient village of Bangladesh. Which is Lakshmipur. Lakshmipur district is one of the smaller districts of Bangladesh. Although a small district, this district has its own traditions. This place is also associated with the liberation war of Bangladesh. There is also have a lot of difference in the naming of this place. Today I’m going to tell you about some beautiful place where you can visit. It is possible to visit this district in one day.

Kaman Khola Zamindar Bari, Lakshmipur: Kaman Khola Zamindar Bari is near to Dalalbazar. It’s pretty good to see. The area is fully covered by nature. There have a nice lake and view is awesome. At the main gate have a fort. To enter this Zamindar Bari anyone should need to overcome this. They had an elephant. The elephant was dying, but they stored the fossils. This area also has a nice pavilion for worship.

After East India Company Lokkhi Narayan and his family get the realm and agency. After that people addressing them Dalal. This place is beautiful but now its risky. Because of being too old, it is risky and some parts may break down.

Khoa Sagor Dighi, Lakshmipur: At first let me clear the name of this place, In Lakshmipur they are addressing fog as khoa. Because of this length people see foggy from one end to the other. So they named it Khoa Sagor Dighi. If you translate in English it will be Foggy Lake. In 1755 Zamindar Broj Bollobh Roy excavated this lake by his worker. Many people now came here for morning and evening walk. This place also has some fairytale.
