Why is there not 1 single Yiros, Shawarma, or Turkish Kebab, shop on the whole Sunshine Coast; or anything that consists of real lamb leg steaks over some sort of heat source - preferably charcoal; Unlike that compressed and processed generic sausage looking Aussie lamb kebab that most kebab shops buy from the same place as a frozen wrapped up giant skinless sausage (which is exactly what it is, and never 100% lamb…or meat!) and sometimes when business is slow…uhm let’s just say some try harder than others to sell every last bit of the 1 unfinished large skewer of kebab for days and days.
That would never happen to a shop that has the true smell of burning fresh baby lamb fat drizzling over charcoal…or even on the standard kebab machine is 80% as good too; because its just real.
That Yiros shop at @sunshineplaza was the last I knew and now it’s gone! They were amazing. Bit dear yea; but who can afford to Pay Mr Saunders and co when the mall is empty some weeks/months (Westfield 25% plus few other greedy shareholders) right?
Damn you landlords who didn’t cut hard-working families a break in times of distress. Shall you never enjoy a Yiros ever again! And shall shawarma haunt your dreams for eternity muahahaha! Or even better, shall you never know the taste of a true Lebanese Shawarma!
no, but seriously, can anyone point me to anything north of Brisbane, please?
