Each time you create a new post on Connect, you must pick one of seven topic labels for your post. You can choose from Photography, Travel, Food & Drink, Local Stories, Meet-ups, How-tos, or Achievements.
These topics help make sure that your post is relevant to Local Guides and helps keep Connect organized. But did you know that you can add more information to your posts to help others find what they might be looking for? For example, did you know that you can now find all posts under Local Stories that uses the new label, COVID-19, to find out what other Local Guides are discussing and how they're helping their local communities?
In addition for following our suggestions for writing great posts, we recommend you also add the following to your posts when appropriate:
Adding this information will help others looking for posts about that area or topic to find your post. On April 6, 2020, we launched a new feature that allows Local Guides to follow up to three locations. Today, you can now filter your Favorite Locations by topics, too!
