The Local Guides program has a new design as the team shared previously this week, we can already see the new branding here on Connect, yesterday I was checking the Maps app and I noticed the new design had rolled out to my profile, you can read more about the redesign here: A fresh new look for Local Guides

To show you the difference, I took “Before and after” screenshots. I personally like how it looks in dark mode.
But for those that prefer the classic white background here it is also in light mode:
Be patient, it may take a fews days to rollout on every profile, share in the comments your new profile design !
Also, don’t forget to cast your vote for our new community logo, there are two options but I personally like option B 
(it already has an emoji!) It is symmetrical and it looks like a group of 5 Local Guides raising their arms to complete the shape of the star, if you think about it from an Olympics point of view they consider 5 continents full of Local Guides: Africa, Americas, Asia,Europe and Oceania (Are there any LGs in Antarctica?)
Just imagine getting a group of 5 LG and with a selfie stick or a drone and taking a photo that looks like the community logo, it’s Brilliant!
So, Citizens of the Local Guides Nation, I am once again humbly asking for your support: let option B resurge in the polls and cast a historic vote for Option B, for a future that is symmetrical, star-shaped and come on, it looks like it’s already there in our profiles in the app. You can change your vote to make history!
