I recently level upped to 7 local guide, but now I have some bug it shows that I’m still on 6.

Please help me to solve this.

Please confirm in your account history settings that you have Auto-delete set to off.

That’s one of the reasons you could lose points. Check that settings to be sure and please reply soonest.

Thank you for confirming that the Auto-Delete is off.Therefore it’s a general issue. It’s not particular to you,alone. We have other local guides who have this same issue.

It’s a miracle!!!

This morning when I logged in I found that my missing points had been returned. No questions asked. It was a total of 1,854 points. The perpetrator did not even claim the $50,000 reward being offered for their safe return.

Where were these points? No one knows. Perhaps they went on a short vacation together, out for a walk and got lost, or stopped at the store to pick up milk and got distracted.

Anyway… everyone is back home and where they belong. You can bet these points and I will have a long talk about wandering off in the future.

If the points stay put this issue is potentially resolved.

I didn’t check the status since yesterday but now, I see those reduced number of Answers and their points recovered. It seems the issue is resolved. Let’s wait for observations from other users.

My points did not come back - still about 4k points lost

Update: my points are back right now thus everything is fine at the moment.

Yesterday evening I have realized that I have lost about 6700 points! None of my contributions are deleted, marked as private or do violate the policies. Today I configured “Keep my activities until I delete it” (don’t know the exact wording right now) but I am afraid my point are lost. Can Google do something about it? I have taken my valuable time to contribute senseful comments about the places I have been. I really would be disappointed if I had to accept a loss of nearly 7000 points.

I lost some points

and when i add new locations, the badge points do not update

Points were returned from that issue and thank you. But the problem has now returned, months later. In the last days, 20-30 “Answers” have been removed and my points have dropped accordingly. None of my other contribution counts have decreased, only Answers. What’s going on?

And I confirmed, my Maps setting auto-delete is not enabled.
